I’m Yorgo Ziras — a Greek-American DJ and MC with over 25 years of professional experience. I specialize in weddings and private events that blend Greek music with whatever the rest of the room needs to dance to.

Most of my clients are planning a Greek-American wedding, but my actual specialty is broader: helping couples honor two cultures at once. I’ve blended Greek with Jewish, Italian, Latin, Polish, and Irish weddings, and worked closely with extended families on both sides to make sure no tradition gets left out. If one side of the family wants the kalamatiano line and the other side wants the horah or the tarantella, I know how to make both happen without the dance floor losing energy.

I built this business on a few principles that aren’t standard in the wedding industry: published prices on the website, no hidden fees, direct communication with the same person who’ll DJ your wedding, and an honest commitment to listening to what you actually want rather than running someone else’s playbook. Can do no wrong with DJ Yorgo! DJ Yorgo was not only thorough with his approach to our wedding but he took the time to listen to us and our vision. He executed our vision perfectly on the night. As a bride, I spoke with my other vendors telling them exactly what I wanted/expected and most of them just did whatever they wanted on the wedding day without actually listening to what we had requested. DJ Yorgo was the only one that listened and took it upon himself to make sure he was doing exactly as we had requested. In turn, it made me very happy because it was someone I didn't have to worry about at all on the night. His communication in the lead up to our wedding was on point as well, always helping us out with our requests or needs. Something I can't say about the other vendors I had hired. The music was great throughout the entire evening and he kept the energy very high through the night - I cannot recommend him enough to other brides. I am in the period after the wedding where I have regrets about booking certain vendors over others - with DJ Yorgo I do not have any regrets at all. He was absolutely the right DJ for us and I am so thankful we found him. Do yourself a favor and hire him for your event, you will not regret it!!

We only book one event per day, so dates fill quickly. To secure your date, a signed contract and a deposit will be required.

LIABILITY COVERAGE!

Every event is protected with professional liability coverage — including $1 million per occurrence. If your venue requires documentation, a Certificate of Insurance is available upon request.
